This is a gentle reminder about my fundraising efforts for hearing loss.
All of you know that my husband has always experienced severe/profound hearing loss but has managed it well. Others are not as fortunate but because of HLAA (Hearing Loss Association of America), many people have gained knowledge and support to participate in society.
It is this time of year when the Southeastern part of Pennsylvania holds a Walk4Hearing to increase awareness about the causes and consequences of hearing loss and to raise funds to provide information and support for people with hearing loss. More people than ever are experiencing hearing loss. Millions!
The regional walk has always performed well in the past raising thousands of dollars that benefits the hearing loss community at large. The funds allow National, the PA State Association and our chapter to invest in programs and products that has helped all of us very well. National has been working with federal agencies to make sure that your interests are represented. Captioned phones have updated rules to assure access and quality. Over the counter hearing aids need safety and proper labeling.
I am asking you to help by supporting my fundraising efforts with a donation. Your gift will make a difference in the lives of many! It is faster and easier than ever to support this great cause, you can, make your donation online simply by clicking on the link at the bottom of this message. If you prefer, you can also send your contribution to the address listed below.
Any amount, great or small, helps in the fight to make hearing loss an issue of national concern. I greatly appreciate your support and will keep you posted
If sending me a check, please make it out to Walk4Hearing and mail to: Grace Pfeifer, 126 Cedarcroft Rd, Kennett Square, PA 19348
