Walk with Wyatt

We are Walking with Wyatt and raising awareness for childhood hearing loss! Wyatt was diagnosed at birth with bi-lateral moderate to severe hearing loss. He received his first pair of shiny new Wolfpack RED hearing aids at 4 months of age. We give glory to God for his mercies and grace shown in Wyatt's life—even though he may have this extra situation to handle, he has never missed a beat and continues to thrive in all areas of life, especially speech and language development. Praise God! We WALK WITH WYATT to show our support for him and all of his peers with hearing loss and to bring awareness to the importance of having a child's hearing tested and continually monitored in early years of development. We WALK WITH WYATT to provide monetary support for children with hearing loss who may need financial assistance to receive their hearing devices. We WALK WITH WYATT to support Beginnings, a parent education group who provides support for families going through the challenges of a child with hearing loss. WE WALK WITH WYATT to celebrate his accomplishments and show him our love!

Our team goal is $500.00! Please consider donating and walking with us! The 5K Walk is in Cary on October 15, 2017 and we would love to have all of Wyatt’s friends and family there!

The Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) Walk4Hearing increases awareness about hearing loss, helps to eradicate the stigma associated with it and raises funds to provide information and support for people with hearing loss. Since 2006, the Walk4Hearing has raised more than $12 million and has become the largest walk for hearing loss taking place in cities across the United States.
