Dear Family and Friends,
Once again I am priviledged to be participating the in the Walk4Hearing in Cary, North Carolina on Sunday October 15, 2017. My passion for helping people with Hearing Loss came alive in 1996 after my first Convention of the Hearing Loss Associatio of America and each year it just gets stronger as I witness how many people have been helped through this incredible organization. It was there that I learned what was available to all people with hearing loss. This organization helps all of the 48 million people with hearing loss whether they are a member or not. It was then I knew, this was truly a way to pay it forward. I joined and have never looked back. My life changed in so many ways, I became more confident and my need to help others became a way of life. I have been involved in two Chapters and reap the benefits of the Advocacy, Education and Support. In my current chapter HLAA Brevard Chapter, I see people who are becoming so passionate, it warms my heart. We have the most loyal chapter that give of themselves always. One of our members started the HLAA Asheville Chapter. The others continue to bring people to us. They are amazing. The proceeds of this Walk benefit both this incredible Organization as well as my HLAA Brevard Chapter. We Continue to use the funds raised to give back to our community. It is a wonderful way to educate people about the technology available to all who struggle in a group situation. Will you please consider supporting me with a donation, no donation is to small.
