This year has been another filled with hard work, new experiences, and blessings in my work on behalf of people who live with hearing loss. The HLAA Board of Trustees is filled with some of the finest foks I have ever met from all walks of life and all regions of the country. HLAA has offered me the opportunity to keep learning about how to help people stay in the game when they have difficulty hearing. It's amazing how many good things can happen when a resource like HLAA exists.
The highlight of this year was my brother Paul's arrival at the annual HLAA Convention. I think his reaction to the experience was like that of many people who are able to get such a rich sample of what HLAA has to offer. He expressed awe for the breadth of information that is available, and, most heartening to me, he bonded with my amazing HLAA friends. It was a peak experience for me to be able to share HLAA with him.
The advocacy, education, and support that people with hearing loss receive through HLAA is life changing. If you are able to support HLAA with a financial contribution to this year's Walk4Hearing, your generosity will benefit many.
With great appreciation for your friendship and support,
