The Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) Walk4Hearing increases awareness about hearing loss, helps to eradicate the stigma associated with it and raises funds to provide information and support for people with hearing loss. Since 2006, the Walk4Hearing has raised more than $12 million and has become the largest walk for hearing loss taking place in cities across the United States.
Thank you for supporting our HES walk. This is our 3rd year as a unified walk for Hearing Education Services, with all of the 5 boroughs participating. Every year new people register which helps to make our walk family grow. Parents are welcomed with many vendors showing the latest technologies and services available for their deaf and hard of hearing child. Kids, young and old, are able to meet other children in the HES program. Many new and lasting friendships have been started here. The walk offers face painting, various carnival-like games, and the beautiful Riverside Park. Come and join us for a morning of fun and support a good cause!
