Sponsor TEAM LILY LIEBERMAN for the Walk4Hearing
TEAM LILY LIEBERMAN walks to raise money for the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) and The Cleary School for the Deaf. The Cleary School for the Deaf is a private, state supported program that has served the Deaf community of Long Island since 1925. The Cleary School has helped Lily grow as an individual through various therapies and classes. The Cleary School has also helped our immediate and extended families grow to understand what Lily is experiencing and to educate us on various areas and innovations with hear loss.
This year, Lily is entering SECOND GRADE in the Smithtown School District. This past year Lily put on a show for her classmates. It was called "We Can Do It..." She spoke about her hearing aid an cochlear implant. We are all so proud of her. You can see the video above.
Luke, her younger brother is helping to give back to the hard of hearing community. Luke has been selected to be one of the hearing role models in Cleary’s Auditory-Verbal Class. He is very excited for this new adventure.
I want to thank the Hearing Loss Association of America because The Cleary School has used the money raised to support their Parent Teacher Association, Renovate a Playground, and to support teachers as they complete professional development projects. None of these would be possible with out your organization and dedication.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!
