Long Beach Walk4Hearing

As most of you know, my son Sawyer was born with hearing loss. He wears hearing aids to help develop language and we have started to teach him to sign for things he needs. Before Sawyer, we had no clue what hearing loss was. I never touched a hearing aid, let alone changed a battery in one. We are learning new things everyday and meeting amazing people because of this plan God has made for our family. We are fully convinced that a cure for hearing loss will be found within Sawyer's lifetime. For now we hep raise awareness so that those with hearing loss can have the same opportunities and advantages as everyone else. Any amount is never too small or large, please donate if you are able to.

The Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) Walk4Hearing increases awareness about hearing loss, helps to eradicate the stigma associated with it and raises funds to provide information and support for people with hearing loss. Since 2006, the Walk4Hearing has raised more than $12 million and has become the largest walk for hearing loss taking place in cities across the United States.

Thank you,

Heidi Liggett
