Connecticut Walk4Hearing

Caitlyn Crusader's

Welcome Back Caitlyn Crusader's! This is our fourth year participating in the walk for hearing! We are beyond excited to raise awareness and show support for Caitlyn.

We will start off with some recent updates about Caitlyn. On July 5, 2016 she had her second surgery and her right ear was implanted. The second implant was activated about six weeks after. About four months after the surgery we noticed Caitlyn's language had doubled!  In her case, two ears are better than one!

Caitlyn is now in preschool and loves her teachers and friends. She loves to sing, play with stickers, play with playdoh, draw circles, eat pancakes and drink chocolate milk. At this point in her hearing loss journey there are no limitations for her to learn alongside her peers. We have been blessed and pray that she continues to excel with her language.

She celebrated her 3rd birthday on January 24, 2017 with her twin brother Owen! She is a big sister to baby Hannah Rose Krzykowski born March 22, 2017.  As always lets make this the best year yet and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued love and support. We can't wait to see you on walk day!

The Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) Walk4Hearing increases awareness about hearing loss, helps to eradicate the stigma associated with it and raises funds to provide information and support for people with hearing loss. Since 2006, the Walk4Hearing has raised more than $12 million and has become the largest walk for hearing loss taking place in cities across the United States.
