I am walking for my six year old daughter Ryann Olivia aka Roo who was born with congenital birth defect known as Goldenhar Syndrome. She has sense of humor that makes her shine like star. She was born without a left ear known as microtia atresia level 4. Which mean she had unilateral single side deafness.
We have found a wonderful network and family with California Hands and Voices. We are walking to raise money for Northern California Hands and Voices Family camp. It is place where families of all hearing abilities and language choices come together. A place where there is no judgment and all acceptance!
Please join Roo and I in our efforts raise money so every family like mine has the opportunity to come to camp and create a lifetime of memories
The Walk4Hearing is the only nationwide event bringing attention to hearing loss and promoting the importance of hearing health. Funds raised support HLAA’s national awareness and education programs, HLAA Chapters and State Associations, and alliance organizations who help extend HLAA’s mission into local communities.
It all starts right here in my own community with generous people like you, who are willing to step up and support me.
Can I count on you?
