On May 16th, 2009, I will be paricipating in the Walk4Hearing in Chattanooga, TN. This is a cause near and dear to my heart...raising public awareness of hearing loss and raising money for advocacy, education, and support for people with hearing loss. 

Hearing loss is often an unseen disability...it affects far more people than many of us realize. It isolates individuals from their friends and families and makes communication in the workplace and in social activities stressful. There are so many technologies that can benefit people with hearing loss, and support groups to give them a place to belong, yet many people with hearing loss are simply not aware of the opportunities available to them.  We want to try to change that with the Walk4Hearing...won't you help us by donating today?
